What Would You Do? Being an Active Ally in Tough Situations

Knowing when, where, and how to react to anti-LGBTQ sentiments can be stressful, especially in the workplace. In this learning session, participants will build their ally skills by considering new ways to expand and share their knowledge about LGBTQ+ equality. We will lead advanced, self-identified allies through a skill-building experience to fine-tune their communications and conflict resolution skills to take on the tough and tricky world of difficult situations. This customized, scenario-based, session encourages participants to apply what they’ve learned to real-world situations and share their unique strategies to ensure that their LGBTQ+ colleagues feel a sense of belonging at work.
